Kingdom Pokémon
Chapter 4:
Fight Night

A Team Rocket grunt was patrolling the hallways of the base when another grunt came around the corner.  He had long silver hair and looked like he was wearing two layers of clothes.

"Hey, you got a map of this base?" asked the silver-haired grunt.

"Yeah," said the grunt and gave the other grunt a map.

"You are a great guy," said the silver-haired grunt who put his arm around the other grunt's neck.

"Well, I guess so--AHHH!" said the grunt as he was put in a chokehold.

"That'll be enough, Riku," said Sora from around the corner.

"That was clever, dressing Riku as a Rocket grunt and having him get a map," said Dawn.

"The art of disguise," said Riku, "But wearing this over my clothes is killing me."

"Anyway," Sora said, taking the map, "Their base of operations is on the way towards the torture room.  We can kill two birds with one stone."

"Then let's kill away," said Ash.

The team entered the main base of operations to find that the attending Rocket was out.  That meant easy destruction.

"What do you think Team Rocket wants with Misty?" asked Sora as he was switching wires in the back of a storage computer.

"I don't know, but we're going to stop them," said Ash as he smashed another computer with a chair.

It was then that the Rocket returned.  Before he could report to anyone, he was hit upside the head by a stool.

"That'll shut him up," said Kairi.

The team entered the first room on the way to the torture room to find Team Rocket agents Butch and Cassidy.

"Just were do you think you're going?" asked Cassidy.

"Just let us through and you won't get hurt," said Kairi.

"Fat chance," said Butch, pulling out a Pokéball, "We have a new friend."

"Who, a Grimer?" said Dawn.

Suddenly a group of parts fell from the ceiling.  They put themselves together to form a Guard Armor.

"Him," said Cassidy.

"From the looks of it, you're only a couple levels above Jessie and James," said Kairi, "Dawn and I can handle these idiots, you go on ahead."

"What did you say!?" yelled Cassidy, "We're generations above Jessie and James."

"We'll see about that," said Dawn.

Ash, Sora, Riku, and Brock went into the next room to meet an old friend.

"Zexion!? You're working with Team Rocket!?" said Riku.

"Indeed I am," said Zexion, "What's more, I gave Giovanni the Heartless.  He still wanted Legendary Pokémon, but he was willing to take one for his protection."

"I don't think I want to know what monster you gave him," said Sora.

"It doesn't matter, because that girl he kidnapped will eventually give him what he wants," said Zexion, "I should know, I helped get her."

Ash stepped forward; ready to knock Zexion into next week, but Riku stopped him.

"He's mine."

"I'll help," said Brock, "He's bound to have some Pokémon, and that's my specialty."

"Indeed I do," said Zexion, throwing some black Pokéballs. The Pokémon that appeared were soaked in dark energy.  On top of that, a few Heartless appeared.

"My Heartless Pokémon," said Zexion, "Easily a match for any Pokémon you own."

"We'll see about that," said Brock.

Misty was bound to a wall in a large room.  Giovanni was pacing in front of her, thinking.  Beside her were the items that Giovanni used to torture her.

"Ok, let's go through this again," said Giovanni, "I've received reconnaissance reports from Jessie and James that place you with Ash Ketchum until the end of his journeys in Johto.  During that time, you and he saw a numerous amount of legendary Pokémon.  I simply want the locations of these Pokémon.  If you keep refusing to give me what I want, you will suffer more pain than you have ever suffered before.

"So," Giovanni said, picking up a torture device, "Where are those Pokémon?"

Misty simply said, "Kiss my--AHHH!"

"Now, now, watch your mouth," said Giovanni, pulling his device back, "Now before I ask again, please note that I can put this thing up to '****, ****, ****, that's a lot of ****-ing pain.'  Do you want to go through that?"

Misty thought, and said, "I'm not telling you anything."

"Wrong choice of words," said Giovanni.  He moved the device in when a voice came from behind him.

"Put that thing down before I rip your hand off."

"ASH!" Misty said, filled with joy.

"Ash Ketchum," said Giovanni, turning around to face Ash, "It seems I have the Holy Grail now.  Why don't you tell me where you met all of those legendary Pokémon?  And if you aren't willing to talk, I can always do this."

Giovanni pointed the torture device at Misty and turned it on.  Seeing Misty in that much pain filled Ash with a great amount of rage.  All of it was directed at Giovanni.

"That's enough," said Sora, coming in from the hallway.

"You must be one of those foreigners that Zexion fellow told me about," said Giovanni, "He gave me this guy in case you came along."

A large dark portal appeared on the back wall and out of it came a Behemoth.

"This is great," said Sora.

"That's one big creature," said Ash.

"I'll say," said Sora, "We're going to have change the rules."

Sora formed a barrier between Ash and himself, leaving Ash with Giovanni and Sora with the Behemoth.

"What are you doing, Sora?" asked Ash.

"The Behemoth is my fight, Giovanni is yours," said Sora, "Go save your girl."

With that the combatants faced each other and began to battle.
